These **General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use** (hereinafter \”GTC-GTU\”) govern the use of the **Give a Book** website and the sale of books, whether physical or digital, offered through it.

2. Acceptance of Conditions

By accessing the website and placing an order, you unreservedly accept these GTC-GTU. You acknowledge having read these conditions at the time of order validation.

3. Products and Prices

• Products: We offer books in physical (print-on-demand) and digital (PDF, ePub, and soon, audio) formats. All our books are published under a **Creative Commons** license.
• Prices: Prices are indicated in US dollars ($). We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but books will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time of your order validation.

4. Order and Payment

• Ordering Process: You select the items of your choice, add them to your cart, and validate your order. The order is confirmed only after your payment, made online by credit card via a secure payment service, is validated.

5. Delivery

• Physical Books: Since each book is printed on demand, the delivery time includes production time. This estimated time is displayed before order validation. Shipping costs are calculated based on your address and the weight of the order.
• Digital Books: Download links for digital formats will be sent to you by email immediately after payment confirmation.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

• Digital Products: Due to their nature, digital books are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
• Physical Books: As each physical book is custom-printed, returns for a simple change of mind are not accepted. Returns are only possible in cases of product defect or damage, as detailed in our **Return Policy**. Please refer to that page for the conditions and procedure to follow.
